Ancient Pathways Outreach
Jeremiah 6:16 – This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.
For two decades, K&L have embraced incarnational ministry among communities following the world’s second-largest faith tradition, living out the apostle Paul’s timeless strategy: “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22). Following Christ’s model of becoming flesh and dwelling among us, they have made themselves at home in these ancient cultures, learning languages, sharing daily life, and loving those who have never heard Christ’s name as their own family.
Incarnational ministry involves “the immersion of one’s self into a local culture” and embodying Christ’s presence in tangible ways. K&L have committed to long-term presence among peoples whose heritage traces back to Abraham, learning heart languages, sharing traditional meals, and building authentic relationships that bridge cultural divides. Alongside the warmth of friendship, K&L stand with local believers who often face opposition and persecution for their faith—encouraging them in the face of hardship. Paul’s contextualization strategy guides their approach: becoming like those they seek to reach without compromising the unchanging truth of the Gospel.
Through these deep friendships, K&L aim to evangelize and plant churches with the ultimate goal of developing indigenous leadership. The communities they serve represent the world’s largest unreached population, with over 2 billion people across 4,046 distinct people groups, of which 85.7% remain unreached with the Gospel. Currently, there is only one missionary for every 400,000 people in these faith communities globally, making incarnational presence both urgent and vital.
K&L focus on developing local leadership because these church planters understand their cultural context, speak the heart language of their people, and can navigate challenges that foreign missionaries cannot. Despite significant opposition, persecution, and cultural barriers, they believe that establishing indigenous churches through incarnational relationships is essential for sustainable Gospel advancement.

Your partnership enables them to continue this ministry—dwelling among unreached communities where ancient trade routes once carried both goods and ideas, building transformative friendships, planting indigenous churches, and developing local leaders who will advance God’s kingdom among the world’s least reached peoples for generations to come.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matthew 9:37–38)
